Main Ingredients:
- Zero Calorie Sweetener: 1/2 cup Stevia or Splenda (or replace with sugar)
- Almond Milk: 4 cups (unsweetened)
- Peppermint Extract: 1/2 tsp (optional)
- Hot Water: 1/3 Cup
- Dark Cocoa Powder: 1/4 Cup
Directions:
- First, mix together the sweetener, hot water and cocoa in a saucepan.
- Stir this over medium heat until it begins to boil. Cook for one minute, stirring constantly.
- Next, stir in the almond milk and heat, but do not boil. Remove from heat and add the peppermint extract, stirring again. Serve immediately.
