Ingredients
- 2 carrots
- 1 medium sized potato of 200 grams
- 4 spinach leaves
- 1 medium sized onion
- 1 liter of cold water
Preparation
- Wash all the ingredients, chop them and then cook them for around 45 minutes after the water begins to boil.
- Once they have been boiling for 45 minutes, strain the stock.
- If you wish to thicken the stock a little you can add a little bit of rice flour, cereal or powdered milk to it.
- If during they cooking time the liquid has been noticeably reduced, add a little bit of water to it. You can calculate between 175 and 200 cc’s of liquid per portion.
- Once a baby is six months old you can then add in pureed vegetables.
